I’ve been involved in kettlebell sport since 2009, starting with single-bell Girevoy Sport. Back then, there was no world stage for Canadians — just a small but passionate group of lifters trying to build something. I was part of that early crew, "the original Team Canada". Over many years, I earned ranks and won competitions, eventually landing my Master of Sport in the 10-minute, 20kg Long Cycle. I had the privilege of learning from some of the best coaches and athletes in GS and the sport all around.
Competing and coaching became more than just sport for me — they’ve been my anchor and my self-care for over 16 years.
More recently, I stepped into marathon kettlebell sport. The sell being the multi-hand switch of course. I started training half marathon in 2022, and by August 2023, I had earned a spot on Team Canada for my first World Championship. That journey sparked a whole new level of passion — a kind of fire I didn’t even realize was missing. Stepping into the IKMF world is new for me — but bringing passion, leadership, and drive to kettlebell sport is not. My journey as both an athlete and now team rep is only just beginning.
I’m a Registered Massage Therapist and a passionate healthcare entrepreneur, running a successful clinic where I lead a team of six RMTs. I’ve spent the last 9 years building a work culture that prioritizes respect, trust, accountability, and wellness — not just for our clients, but for the practitioners, too. I believe in creating spaces where all people feel supported and seen, and that absolutely carries over into how I approach team building in sport as well.
I’m also the founder of True North Kettlebell Club, where I coach athletes in both kettlebell fitness and sport. Whether they’re picking up a bell for the first time or training for competition, I love helping people find strength, confidence, and community through this sport.
I’m a certified Safe Sport coach (NCCP), and I don’t take that lightly. Over the years, I’ve organized local meets, pop-up classes in the park, fundraisers, and countless creative ways to bring athletes together — not just to train, but to connect, support each other, and grow the sport from the ground up. Watching this community take shape and grow has been one of the most inspiring parts of my journey.
Safe, inclusive, and athlete-centered spaces are the foundation of everything I do — whether I’m coaching lifters, working with patients, or supporting Team Canada athletes.
